How Tutoring Sessions Work
Subject Tutoring
Each session is designed with one goal in mind: to help you meet your educational needs. For math and science subject tutoring, I offer help with homework completion, quiz and test preparation, and coverage of concepts. If you missed any classes during the school year, or if you just feel completely lost in your math or science classes, I can help you get caught up and master the concepts. Maybe you are taking an introductory math or science course on your way to an undergraduate degree, and are not a “math or science person”; I can guide you throughout the course. Each tutoring session revolves around whatever you need help with at the time.
Standardized Test Preparation
If you are stressing about taking a standardized test, I can help you prepare for the math sections. If you already have a book or other resource that you are using to study, I can work with you on any concepts that are giving you trouble. If you don't have study resources, I can suggest a book that you can purchase and use for our sessions. I can review and re-teach concepts, give and grade practice problems, and help improve your confidence on test day.
